I'm so excited! CCAD Saturday Morning Art Classes started up again today! I haven't got anyone from last year's classes in my class this year, but it's cool. Almost everyone was talking together today... which normally doens't happen, especially not on the first day. It was quite plesant, taking of so many things with such a variety of people. The only problem is that I only learned two people's names, and by next week I shall have forgotten them ;_; . But whatever! Our teacher will take attendance every week, so I'll just see who they are then... ^.^;
I've got silkscreening for the first quarter, drawing II next quarter. If we get our required silkscreen project done ahead of time, we can make a shirt! That's what I really want to do. I think it'll be fun. Okay, so once I actually learn how to silkscreen, I'll probably be eating my words, but the idea sounds fun. ^_^ I want a custom shirt...
45 minuets after the regular SMAC ends, I've got a life drawing class. Only offered to grades 10, 11, and 12. It was good, and I did learn a lot, but the environment was completely different. Only one girl was in both the silkscreening class and the lifedrawing class with me... but we didn't talk in the lifedrawing class. No one did, unless you were speaking to the teacher or on break. There was one girl who talked to almost everyone on break... -_- she has a lot of energy.
Unfortunately, next week I can only attend the regular SMAC. Homecoming is that night, and I've got a ton of things to do beforehand. It's gonna be great. Our whole huge group is going to conjurgate and go to the dance together. ^_^ Very exciting day.
When we get a new scanner, I will put up some of the better CCAD images. They might be in the scraps section though... not sure. Keep an eye out for them!
